- Pick Your Token: Before starting the game, each player chooses one token to represent them throughout the game.
- Roll The Dice: To begin your turn, roll both dice and move your token according to the number rolled.
- Purchase Properties: If you land on an unowned property, you have the option to buy it at its listed price. If you choose not to purchase it or do not have enough money, it goes up for auction among all players.
- Earn Money: When other players land on your owned properties, they must pay rent based on how many houses or hotels are built on them.
- Krusty Krab/Jellyfish Fields Cards: If you land on these spaces or draw their corresponding cards, follow their instructions which can either benefit or harm you financially in some way.
- Beware Of Go To Jail:If you land directly on “Go To Jail” space or draw its corresponding card,you must go directly there without passing Go or collecting $200.
- Become The Richest Player To Win!The first player to reach $1 million wins!
Tips For Playing The Game
- Familiarize yourself with all characters’ locations so that when someone calls out “go to Squidward’s house,”you know where exactly they mean.
- Listed prices for properties may vary based on location as well as number of players playing at once.
- If playing with younger players,some rules can be modified so that everyone can play equally.
- Auctions allow players who cannot afford certain properties,the chance to still obtain them at reduced prices.
- You can sell back houses/hotels whenever needed but only for half their original price.
- Purchasing all locations within one color group gives benefits such as discounts when building houses/hotels, as well as allowing more than four houses per property.
